Apple wins: Adobe Creates Way For Flash To Work On iOS

Adobe Gives In, Creates Way For Flash To Work On iOS

The on-going stand-off between Apple and Adobe has been going on for years and in the past Apple refused to enable support for Flash because it used far too much of the device's resources, causing the device run slowly and draining battery. But these days seem to be over, as Adobe have announced its new Flash Media Server 4.5, which will automatically make Flash viewable on Apple's iOS devices.
Despite this news, it doesn't actually mean that Flash will directly be supported on iOS devices like the iPhone, iPad or iTouch, but it does mean that the media server will be able to export Flash content as HTML5, which eventually will be supported on iOS when web publishers us the new Adobe software.
This seems to be a really smart move by Adobe!!
